Surprisingly, Stark seems to be at a disadvantage over the captain’s ability even without his bankai. Kyoraku proves to be a very strong opponent to the primera espada that even he acknowledges the gap in their power. Tired of waiting, Aizen finally makes his move. To everyone’s surprise, he is actually not joining the battle to fight the shinigami but rather he wants to dispose of his unreliable and weak espada by killing them himself. Constant motivation, and mild pouring of emotion from Barragan’s death probably made him more serious as he is now finally battling seriously. However, as the story continues Soifon is in for a big surprise as Barragan is not just any number 2 espada but is actually a self-procliamed ‘king’ of Hueco Mundo. Thus, Stark intensifies his attacks by using a double gun to shoot very powerful ceros multiple times and all at once – just like a meteor shower.
